I'm getting a 'This video is a duplicate of a previously uploaded video.' error on that first video link, but if it's the same as the preview than nevermind the video! The preview's a bit limited, I can't seem to make that 180 turn right, and the game hangs a bit right before you 'wipeout' (common problem with Unity games on my part btw, I suppose Unity's a bit more resource-intense than Flash) but I do love the idea!
When I imagine it in my head, I'm picturing a 2D approach, where you evade the obstacles in a linear fashion, simple, oldskool, addicting retro arcade action just like the old Paperboy games (and similar). The controls you suggest seem well-planned too. Sounds like the work required to make this particular product isn't the easiest, but if that's no problem my opinion's definitely: definitely!
It seems like a game I'd enjoy playing. Especially with medals. ;)
